Who we are
Marcafé Chartered Certified Accountants ("Marcafé", "we") is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. Our Information Officer can be contacted at marcus@marcafe.co.za or 012 880 8484.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, e-mail address, phone number, city, the service you are interested in and your message.
- WhatsApp, phone and e-mail: the details you choose to share when you contact us.
- Website analytics (only if you accept cookies): anonymous information about how the website is used, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.
Please do not send ID numbers, banking details or documents through the website form. We will arrange a secure way to receive documents once we have spoken to you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To keep records required by law and by our professional body.
- To understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing you have not agreed to.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers we need to run our business and this website — for example our website and e-mail host and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics — and with authorities such as SARS or CIPC when you instruct us to act on your behalf or the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become client work are deleted when no longer needed. Client records are kept for as long as the law and professional rules require.

This website only uses analytics cookies if you click Accept on the cookie notice. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser's cookies.
Your rights
